LINKSYS:
BRINGING THEIR SIGNAL STUDIO TO LIFE THROUGH PREMIUM TECHNOLOGY VIDEO
How we helped bring Linksys Signal Studio to life on screen. A real-world product testing space, filmed and edited to speak directly to ISP partners.
A STORY BUILT FOR A SPECIALIST AUDIENCE.
Linksys Signal Studio is a dedicated testing environment that lets ISP partners bring products into a real, lived-in home setting and see how they actually perform – not just how they perform on a lab bench.
The audience wasn’t consumers. It was ISPs – a technical, commercially-minded audience who needed to understand what Signal Studio does and why it matters.
TWO INTERVIEWS AND A LOOK THAT MATCHED THE SPACE.
We filmed two 2-camera interviews on location to anchor the narrative, shot to look modern and considered – the kind of set up that gives the impression of technical credibility rather than a generic corporate talking head.
Around those interviews, we captured b-roll of the Signal Studio space itself: the rooms, the equipment, the details that show it’s a genuine testing ground rather than a superficial showroom built for the camera.
AN EDIT BUILT TO FEEL PREMIUM, NOT PREDICTABLE.
The edit is where the video really came alive. We leaned into the idea at the heart of Signal Studio – signal moving through a real space.
We built a flowing, orbital motion effect through the film to visually echo that concept, giving the video a distinct identity rather than defaulting to a standard interview-and-b-roll package.
This kind of attractive visual treatment is not just for show, it’s the kind of thing that keeps people engaged throughout the video.
Strong visuals reduce the cognitive effort needed to stay interested, triggering a dopamine-driven attention response that holds focus while the audience is taking in the message.
The result is a film that explains a technical proposition clearly, speaks the language its ISP audience expects, and gives Linksys a piece of content with a visual style that’s genuinely its own.

We are so happy with it. Thank you!

AXIOM COMMUNICATIONS:
USING VIDEO TO SUCCESSFULLY EXPLAIN
A NEW PROCESS
How we created a suite of engaging, high-quality video content for Axiom Communications to help them explain their 7-step transformation process for employee engagement.
BETTER VIDEO. CLEARER MESSAGE. STRONGER BRAND.
Axiom Communications is an award-winning consultancy firm with a 30-year track record in employee engagement and experience. They partner with leading organisations around the world to deliver measurable improvements to business outcomes by transforming the way their people think, feel and act.
They came to us with a clear goal – use video to explain their value proposition and their 7-step process.
The content would live on their website homepage and across LinkedIn and YouTube, targeting customers at every stage of the purchase funnel.
During the discovery call, the original brief was to produce a single five-minute video to do all of that.
We pushed back. A 5 minute video trying to serve everyone in the funnel rarely serves anyone well.
Instead, we recommended producing multiple versions from a single shoot. A 5 minute cut for bottom-funnel prospects already close to a decision, a 90-second version for mid-funnel audiences, and short vertical cuts for top-of-funnel reach on social.
Same content, different formats, built for how each audience actually consumes video.
SHOT WITH ENGAGEMENT IN MIND.
The video was filmed in a single day at a hired hotel venue with a boardroom look and feel – professional, authoritative, and in keeping with the Axiom brand.
We filmed with the Founder and MD alongside 3 of their leading consultants, each delivering scripted lines direct to camera with an autocue in place to support confident delivery.
Shooting direct to camera was a deliberate choice – it makes the video feel personal and direct, like the consultant is speaking to the viewer rather than presenting to a room.
Alongside the talking heads, we captured b-roll footage throughout the day to give the edit a diverse range of visuals to work with. We kept tightly to schedule throughout, wrapping on time and avoiding any additional location fees.
EDITED TO KEEP PEOPLE WATCHING.
Great footage is only half the job. The edit is where retention is won or lost.
Once filming wrapped, we synchronised all interviews and audio before building the narrative in line with the pre-agreed video structure.
We developed contemporary motion graphics to support the dialogue and maintain engagement throughout – keeping the viewer’s attention across what is, at its longest cut, a 5 minute watch.
Alongside the main film and the 90-second version, we produced seven individual vertical cuts for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and LinkedIn. One for each stage of the process, each designed to work as a standalone piece of content.
In total, we delivered 9 video assets to Axiom – each one built for a specific audience, at a specific stage of the purchasing funnel.

We really enjoy working with Bear Island. They take the stress out shooting video, and deliver technical excellence, leaving me to focus on my performance to camera.

ROYAL NAVY MUSEUMS:
24 ASSETS, FIVE DAYS, ONE CAMPAIGN
How we helped Royal Navy Museums deliver a fast-turnaround, multi-platform advertising campaign in just five days.
A CAMPAIGN THAT NEEDED TO MOVE FAST,
AND NOT BE RUSHED.
Royal Navy Museums run some of the most recognisable attractions in the country – HMS Victory, the Mary Rose, and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
Their summer campaign needed to do a lot in a very short space of time: turn raw footage into a full suite of platform-ready video assets, fast, without losing the quality a national heritage brand demands.
As a returning client, they knew what they needed and they trusted Bear Island Video to deliver it.
The brief was clear – take footage captured by their internal media team and shape it into a campaign that could run across multiple platforms, each with their own format and audience.
The turnaround was tight. 24 assets in five days, from start to finish.
24 ASsETS. ONE CAMPAIGN.
Working entirely from provided footage, the job wasn’t about capturing the story, it was about finding it.
Every 30-second cut needed a strong mix of the attractions, a good instinct for the standout shots, and a demographic mix that reflected the audience the campaign was trying to reach.
Each asset was built for its platform, animated on-screen text carried the key messages, and subtitled versions ensured the content worked with sound on or off.
In total, 24 individual video assets were delivered across multiple aspect ratios – a full suite of campaign-ready content, built to move fast across every channel it needed to land on.
DELIVERED ON TIME, TO THE BRIEF,
FOR A CLIENT WHO CAME BACK FOR MORE.
The campaign was delivered in full within the five-day window – every asset, every format, ready to go.
For a returning client working to a tight deadline, that trust isn’t given lightly – it’s earned project by project.
When clients come back to you for more work, that’s the clearest sign that the campaign did exactly
what it needed to.
We’ve had a fantastic experience working with Bear Island Video. They completely understood the brief from the outset and delivered exactly what we were looking for.
