PROFESSIONAL TRAINING VIDEO PRODUCTION
PROFESSIONAL TRAINING VIDEO PRODUCTION THAT ACTUALLY GETS WATCHED.
We’ve all watched badly shot training videos that don’t engage or inspire.
Cheap production, robotic AI voiceovers, irrelevant stock footage, and staff clicking through as fast as possible just to get the certificate.
You know it, and so do your employees.
There’s a better way. Professionally produced staff training videos that are clear, well-
made and genuinely watchable.
The same consistent message, delivered to every person in your organisation, every time.

THE BUSINESS CASE FOR TRAINING VIDEOS
In-person training is expensive to deliver, hard to scale, and only as good as the person
running the session on any given day.
Every time a new starter joins or a process changes, you’re back in the room, running it
again.
Employee training videos change that. One production investment delivers consistent,
high-quality training to your entire workforce – whether that’s ten people or ten thousand, in one office or across multiple sites.
The message is always the same, the standard is always the same, and the cost per head drops every time someone new watches it.
For most businesses, a single well-produced training video pays for itself the first time it
replaces a day of in-person sessions.

WHY CHOOSE
BEAR ISLAND VIDEO
FOR YOUR TRAINING VIDEOS
Most corporate training videos are made by people who understand video production but
not necessarily how to make content that holds attention and motivates people.
We approach every training project with a clear objective, a purposeful script, and production
values that reflect well on your business.
The result is training content that doesn’t feel like training content. It’s clear, compelling and
engaging, helping your key messages get through.

THE PROCESS
From the first discovery call to delivery of your final videos, we manage the entire training
video production process.

discovery call
For training videos, understanding your workforce and learning objectives upfront is what
separates content that actually works from content that gets clicked through.

PRE-PRODUCTION
PLANNING
Scriptwriting for training videos is one of the most important parts of the process. Everything is carefully planned and signed off by you before we film a single frame.

FILMING
Whether we’re filming at your premises or in a studio, we run the shoot from start to finish
and capture everything needed
for the edit.

VIDEO EDITING
We strategically edit the content to keep your audience engaged from start to finish. Clear structure and careful pacing make your training videos easier to watch and follow.

MULTI-SECTOR TRAINING VIDEO EXPERIENCE
Every sector has its own training challenges, requirements, and workforce.
For over 10 years, we’ve produced workplace training videos across the corporate,
technology, industrial, manufacturing, construction, and defence sectors.
We arrive at every shoot understanding the context, the complexity, and what effective
training looks like in your world.
That experience is super important. A construction safety training video has very different requirements from a software training video or a healthcare training video.
The tone, content, and audiences are all different.
We know how to adapt without compromising on quality, and how to make training content that feels relevant to the people watching it, not generic and forgettable.

TRAINING VIDEOS – FAQS
More answers to your questions about our training video services answered here!
How long should a training video be?
For most training topics, shorter is better. People’s attention drops off fast. The right length depends on the subject matter and how complex it is.
Sometimes you’re better off breaking it up into episodes rather than a long video. We’ll advise on structure as part of the scripting process.
Do you sort out the voiceover as part of the process?
Yes. We work with professional voiceover artists and can source the right voice for your content. We source several examples for you to choose from. If you’d prefer someone internal to deliver the voiceover, we can work with that too.
Do you write the script or do we need to write it?
Scripting is included in our pre-production process. We’ll work with you to understand the subject matter, the key messages, and the tone, then turn into a clear, structured script.
If you already have existing training materials you want us to work from, even better. It gives us a head start and means nothing important gets missed.
Can one shoot cover multiple training topics?
Yes and it’s worth planning for this from the start. If you’ve got several training needs, consolidating them into one shoot day is almost always more cost-effective than booking separate productions. We’ll map out everything you need during pre-production and structure the day to cover as much ground as possible without compromising on quality.
We already do in-person training – do we still need video?
We suggest both. In-person training has real value for complex topics that benefit from interaction and questions.
But video handles everything else more efficiently. Onboarding, compliance, processes, refresher training can all be done at a fraction of the cost and without the scheduling headache.
Most businesses that invest in training video don’t replace their in-person sessions entirely, they just stop using them for the things video does better.
We’ve made training videos before but no-one watched them. What would you do differently?
If they’re not working, it’s usually due to of a few things. They’re too long, the production quality was poor causing people to switch off or it just wasn’t made with the viewer in mind.
We script the videos to be clear and concise with no waffle. We also implement various filming and editing techniques that will keep the viewers engaged throughout.
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU.
